An UMtanz e.V. Dance Film Projects
With kids from the Uckermark, Berlin and México
ROT - BLUE- WEISS a dance film trilogy by UMtanz e.V., in which children and teenagers from Templin playfully express colours in movement. On the basis of contemporary dance, the young dancers* abstract their original ideas about the respective colours, which are captured on film.

Film Premiere April in Kino Haus Quillo in Falkenhagen
In this way, the children will gain access to Vivaldi's work "The Spring" from the cycle DIE VIER JAHRESZEITEN. In this way, we are once again taking up the 4 elements and an essential part will be the children's research in nature in order to stimulate their imagination for their own forms of movement.

Dance - live music and film creation with Kids and Music Ensemble Quillo

Life Music played by Ensemble Quillo: Ursula Weiler (flute) Max Renne (piano) and Franziska Rau (double bass)
The approach was to dance and visualize the 4 elements water, fire, earth and air. A live and video performance with children and professionals on stage and screen. For the project the B minor suite by J.S. Bach was used. Two presentations at Haus Quillo and MKC Templin were accompanied by live musicians through the cooperation partner Haus Ensemble Quillo

Berlin in the 1920s - a large department store represents the emerging dynamic Metropol Berlin. What better as that ? Such a "city within a city" is at the center in 1928 premiered Revue "It is in the air" by Mischa Spoliansky (music) and Marcellus Schiffer (text).
